ASH - STREET DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Ash has been teaching street dance for 18 years and has been dancing for over 25 years. His main teaching styles are Hip Hop, Locking, and House. Ash has shared his passion for dance all over the UK and internationally, including classes in Brazil and France.

Ash has performed at prestigious venues such as Wembley Arena, The O2 Arena, and Sadler’s Wells, as well as at the Breakin’ Convention and many other major events. He has shared the stage with George Sampson (BGT winner) on his UK tour, performed twice on The One Show, and is a BBC Charity Award-winning choreographer. He has also performed with artists including Olly Murs and Cheryl Cole.

As a competitor, Ash is a multi-time champion in the BDO, SDI, 101, and IDO UK street dance competitions, excelling in both solo and team divisions.

Ash has hosted the UK’s biggest dance show, Dance Beats Cancer, for five consecutive years in the South and now leads multiple dance and charity shows in the North. Over the past decade, he has also served as a judge for numerous competitions and events.

Known for his fun, high-energy classes, Ash combines fast-paced routines with in-depth knowledge of street dance history and foundations. His mission is to bring exciting, innovative ideas to every class, ensuring dancers of all levels leave inspired and challenged.

GRACE AND KAILEE

Grace has been a pupil at Stars Academy for over 10 years. Currently training for her Intermediate Ballet and Grade 5 Tap, Grace is an esteemed member of our school community. She assists with our Mini and Junior Street classes and leads our Rosette Ballet and Tap class. Grace is adored by all the children at Stars Academy for her dedication, talent, and kind nature.

 

Kailee has been part of Stars Academy for nearly 15 years and has trained in a wide variety of styles. She is currently taking our Acro class and is a prestigious member of our Cheer, Lyrical, and Street Teams, competing across the UK. Having completed her International Supreme in Street with the IDTA, Kailee brings a wealth of skill and experience that she now shares with our pupils, inspiring the next generation of dancers.
